Corrections Policy
Corrections Policy
DatumFan is committed to correcting material factual errors when they are identified.
What We Correct
Corrections may involve names, dates, scores, statistics, schedules, locations, quotations, team information, competition details or other factual information that was materially inaccurate when published.
Updates vs. Corrections
A developing sports story may be updated as new information becomes available. An update is not necessarily a correction. A correction is appropriate when previously published information was materially wrong or misleading.
How Corrections Are Handled
Minor typographical, grammatical or formatting errors may be fixed without a separate correction notice when they do not alter the meaning of the article.
Material errors may be corrected in the article and, when appropriate, accompanied by an editor’s note explaining what changed.
Request a Correction
Readers may send correction requests to [CONTACT EMAIL].
Please provide the article URL, identify the specific information you believe is incorrect and include supporting evidence or a reliable source when possible.
Submitting a correction request does not guarantee that a change will be made. We review requests based on the available evidence and our editorial standards.
